Pontiac Montana: Minivan For Families

Pontiac Montana was introduced by General Motors in 1997. It represents a full-size minivan with a front-drive system. By 1998 the car was named Pontiac Trans Sport Montana.

The car with five doors weighs 1790 kg. The number of seats can vary from six to eight. Cargo capacity is 4,380 liters.

Pontiac Montana was supplied with a 3.35-liter gasoline V6 engine with fuel injection and central camshaft. The torque was 284 Nm.

The company introduced a modified and improved version of Pontiac Montana in 2002. It had 4 doors. The max trunk capacity was 3765 liters. The four-wheel drive version was available.

GM organized subclass car smuggle SMV in 2004 which produced a new car known as Pontiac Montana SV6 next year. However, its production was terminated due to low demand.
