Porsche 918 Spyder: The Best Gift For Yourself

The company released the hybrid 918 Spyder model and introduced it at the Motor Week in Monterey, Canada. It can easily compete with such brands as Mercedes, BMW and Audi. The car is ready to go to a series.

The technical information about Porsche 918 Spyder has been already announced by the company. As a result, the model has got a 4,6-liter V8 gasoline engine with 608 h.p. and a choice of several electric motors. The first one gives out 95 kW (129 h.p.) working with the front wheels, while the second one is 115 kW (156 h.p.) and works with the rear wheels. All of them use 7 kW-hours ion batteries.

Thanks to 880 h.p. capacity the car can reach 100 km/h less than in 3 sec. Its top speed is 320 km/h. It is also supplied with the steered chassis, active aerodynamic weather-cloth and seven-speed robotized automatic shift.

Porsche 918 Spyder will cost 645 000 euros on the European market. Those who like speed can order a Weissach package, including door coverings, climatic installation, audio system, additional aero whale and magnesian rims. The basic model will cost about 100 000 euros.
