Renualt 19, Car That Gets Appreciation from Worlwide Markets

Renualt 19 was part of a French automobile producer Renualt, the first production of the car took place during 1988 and the last production happened in 1996 while the production was continued in few countries like Argentina and Turkey since 2000. The R19 includes four models each with different car type and features. The code name of R19 during the production was X53, company have named cars on the basis of their features like the five door version was named B53, three door car was coded C53, Cabriolet version was coded by D53 and L53 were given to Chamade version.

A Look At The Engine Type

It was invented with an intention to take the place of Renault 9 and Renault 11; they were previous versions of Renault that has become old for current market of 80s. R19 was first debuted at September 1988 in France markets. The car designed innovated by Giorgetto Giugiaro and it includes two versions of engines, E-type 1.4 L engine and F-Type 1.7 L engine. However, its engine type depends upon particular market. The basic version utilized Overhead Valve C-type Cleon 1.4 L and 1.2 L engines. The company has sets simple conditions that the genuine version of R19 includes environment friendly diesel engine, it was basically a turbine powered version that was introduced in 1992.

Production Continues Until 2000

Since 1996, R19 has been covered European markets and the production was continued in Argentina for the markets of South America. Turkish has witness a bit longer production than other nations of Europe although even they have stopped productions of R19 in the end of 2000. However, the original production was shutdown, but the R19's remain accessories and sparing part's consumption continues in the first production of Renault Megane.

Renault car was always appreciated by critics; in 1989 R19 has achieved the title Car of the Year by Germany as well as by Spain. In addition, it also gets recognition by Ireland & Argentina, as well. It received car of year awards by Ireland in 1990 and by Argentina in 1993.
